The school focuses on developing student social skills and values through programs that promote positive behaviours. Respectful Relationships, GREAT Values, Mindfulness and Better Buddies are examples of programs designed to develop student self-esteem and behaviour standards. The school has established student welfare and anti-bullying policies that further promote student safety and positive behaviour.
The school also provides a range of supports for students. These include a daily Breakfast Club, Friendship Finders, Lunchtime Electives, Junior School Council and a dedicated lunchtime indoor room for students to participate in passive pursuits.
Our Program for Students with Disabilities caters for students with special needs and is coordinated by a Leading Teacher to ensure the social, emotional and academic needs of these students are met.
