Lynbrook Primary School opened at the beginning of the 2005 school year with an enrolment of 175 children. It was built within a beautiful natural environment where a natural wetland and historic gum trees featured within the school.  16 permanent classrooms, a full-size gymnasium, art room and administration block were used to educate the 8 grades.

Lynbrook Primary School History

In 2017 we have grown to 980 children and we anticipate that enrolments will peak in the near future. The increased popularity of the school, both due to local area growth and students enrolling from other areas, has resulted in an enrolment zone being created. 22 more classrooms have been added, a 2nd art room has been built, a science room created and a Performing Arts Centre (with seating for an audience of 225 people) are now a feature. In 2009, a joint use pavilion was built incorporating recording studios and OSHC space. The play areas have been developed with multiple play equipment areas, large expanses of artificial turf, gardens and sealed surfaces. The school continues to grow its outstanding facilities with its growing population.

The development of the school since 2005 has been outstanding with the school now providing a learning environment that it is second to none. Quality educational programs that focus on the development of the total child are a feature and continued professional growth and commitment ensures future success.
